Our Environmental Policy

CableScreen Ltd. is committed to a policy of effectively managing environmental performance in order to minimise the impact of our activities on the natural environment and the community at large. This commitment extends to our workplace and any other sites affected by our activities.

Our overall objective is to ensure that every aspect of our work is conducted in accordance with sound environmental practices, follows relevant industry standards and is compliant with applicable legislation.

The Board accepts their responsibility towards protection of the environment and for the implementation of this policy. We will ensure that such resources, training and supervision are provided as necessary in order to fulfil this responsibility.

All employees will be trained to enhance their environmental awareness and encourage positive environmental practice at all times. They will be responsible to ensure that their own work, as far as is reasonably possible, is carried out with minimal risk to the environment.

Our policy and procedures are continually being developed and will be formally reviewed annually. Consultation will be carried out with all relevant bodies and our customers to encourage feedback so as to continually improve our environment management systems.

The Board’s commitment will be manifested by a policy which:

• Ensures compliance with all relevant environmental legislation
• Adheres to industry codes of practice and other requirements where specified by our customers
• Provides information, instruction and supervision for employees;
• Ensures that all employees are aware of environmental best practices and to provide them with adequate training
• Assesses environmental impact in the planning, design, manufacturing and implementation of our projects
• Uses scarce natural resources wisely
• Incorporates environmental and sustainability consideration into our practices with regard to use of materials, energy consumption, waste disposal and recycling
• Reduces the creation of waste by the adoption of improved operating practices
• Ensures that all waste is recycled or disposed of in a safe and responsible manner
• Reviews and revises this policy as necessary at regular intervals.
