Boundary Metal’s new order for the Transport for London project is great news for the future. The project, a joint venture between Balfour Beatty and Carillion is designed to provide a new modern service from Highbury & Islington to New Cross, Crystal Place and West Croydon. The entire line is closed at the moment but By June 2010, it will run from Dalston Junction to stations such as West Croydon and by 2011 it will have been extended to Highbury and Islington. Boundary Metal is currently involved in design work for this project. As the project develops the company will be supplying a range of specialist architectural metalwork and façade systems.
